New for 2009 planting is a waxy version of our long-time favorite 3611. We are pleased to introduce this high-yielding hybrid to the waxy market. This is a very stress-tolerant hybrid that is widely adapted throughout the Central corn belts, and is adapted to most sol types and a wide range of populations. It has excellent plant health, giving it fast emergence, strong stalks and an adequate root system.
WM3657 has outstanding eye appeal with a dark green plant color and large girthy ears. Flex ears will compensate in low population programs to maintain high yields. WM 3657 performs best with high fertility and well drained soils. Fast emergence gets it off to a fast start and great finish. WM 3657 is an excellent silage corn, providing palatable high feed value and high tonnage per acre.
New for 2009 is a waxy version of our long-time favorite 3896. We are pleased to introduce this high-yielding hybrid to the waxy market. WM 3896 has solid agronomics which make it adapted to a wide area of the corn belt and should make it a "must" in corn programs that can use fuller season maturities. WM 3896 is adapted to most soil types and a wide range of populations. WM 3896 has a flex ear, is suggested for corn-on-corn rotating, and has an excellent disease resistance package.
