MOEWS 400 Plus is a 40 clone synthetic variety selected from 15 different populations in Wisconsin and Illinois. Selection was based on increased root size, crown rot resistance, traffic/compaction tolerance, increased winter survival, yield, quality, dark green color, digestibility, resistance to leaf hopper yellowing and freedom from leaf spots.
